Background
Founded in 2001, twentytwenty Insurance Services is an independently owned and operated employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm. We specialize in the implementation and management of complex medical programs, integration of health and wellness plans and incentive structures, 401(k) management, the creation and dissemination of employee education and communications, and are the gold standard for client account management and service. Managing the benefits programs for clients from as far west as Hawaii to the eastern seaboard of New Jersey, twentytwenty maintains a diverse portfolio of client companies, financial service firms, hospital and healthcare organizations, and many others.

twentytwenty offers clients a robust package of services as part of the standard line-up, while also working with clients in assessing their specific needs; partnering with them in developing and implementing customized programs that will achieve organizational objectives. This strategy coupled with the dedicated service twentytwenty provides its clients are the reasons the firm has retained many of its client relationships since its establishment.

Management Team

Sima Reid, President
The twentytwenty team is headed by President, Sima Reid. Sima has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry specializing in the development of stop loss/reinsurance products and employee benefit programs for large regional and national employers.

Prior to forming twentytwenty, Sima served as President of Brentwood Benefits and Consultants, Inc. There she was responsible for overall management of the support staff handling a premium base of approximately $40 million. Prior to joining Brentwood, Sima served as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Office Health Care Unit for Alexander & Alexander where she was responsible for over $25 million in annualized premium.

Sima began her career in the insurance industry with Great West Life Insurance Company, where she was responsible for field underwriting, complete plan installation and the on-going administration of large fully-insured and self-funded employer groups.

Sima is an active member of the Health Care Financial Managers Association, the Health Care Human Resources Management Association and the Employee Benefit Planning Association. She has been featured as a key speaker for both organizations in addition to speaking at meetings of the Risk Management Association and the International Institute. She is a graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Sabrina Fields, Director of Marketing and Account Management
Day-to day contact is the primary responsibility of Sabrina Fields. Sabrina has worked alongside Sima Reid for 6 years. Also, a licensed broker with over 20 years insurance industry experience, Sabrina is expert at handling the day-to-day client service needs of large and small employer groups alike.

Sabrina is specifically responsible for carrier responsiveness and has, over the years, developed long-term relationships with many carriers in order to accomplish this goal.

Other areas of Sabrina's expertise include: tracking renewals, preparing proposal requests, COBRA, HIPAA, IRS 5500s and developing employee communications.

Michael Reid, Account and Communications Manager
Formally trained in internet/print design and content management, Michael brings with him the ability to bridge the communication gap that often gets in the way of employees understanding their benefits. Having managed client accounts directly at twentytwenty for over 5 years, Michael’s strong understanding of the full range of employee benefits provides him with a solid foundation to develop and deliver educational, informative and eye-catching employee communications; while also serving specific client needs on a day to day basis.

Michael Trapp, Senior Account Manager
Michael brings a background in banking and finance to the twentytwenty team. He has worked in financial and estate planning as well as deferred compensation and defined employee benefit plans through New York Life Insurance Company. Most recently, Michael worked with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as a Banking and Investment Consultant, providing cash-flow solutions and income opportunities to corporations and high net-worth clients. His experience with life insurance translates well to Employee Benefit solutions and his knowledge of securities and retirement planning adds value to 401 (k) account implementation and management. Michael is completing his MBA through the University of California, Irvine, The Paul Merage School of Business.
